Impulse buys are rarely a good thing. I was walking through Scheels’ flagship store admiring the quality of outdoor gear stocked on shelves compared to many other big box stores. The outdoor cooking section was extensive with a ton of equipment that needs testing. But, I’m in the middle of a hunting trip and the truck and camper are already geared to the max.
But how can I leave empty handed? Then, on a top shelf, I see Scheels’ custom spice rubs. The Sriracha speaks to me and will tuck nicely into the camp kitchen. It’s become my favorite seasoning for both steaks and fowl with a nice afterburn kick. I should have made room for more than just one shaker — $4.
